Ever since I was a small child, my family has been pressing cider with a press that my father built (above). My eldest brother started hosting cider-press parties when he went off to college, and once my husband and I had our backyard landscaped, it seemed time to carry on the tradition.
We started our first of hopefully many parties back in 2012. Here are some photos from one of the gatherings.
