Cherry-Almond Scones

Scones (instagram)About a year ago, I purchased the cookbook Gather: The Art of Paleo Entertaining. After completing the Whole-30 challenge, I became intrigued by the Paleo diet and started reading more about it. While shopping at Whole Foods, I came across this book. It has great photos, as well as several recipes I wanted to try. One was a recipe for orange scones that look delicious.

New Year’s Brunch Strata

Last winter, when I had invited several friends over for brunch, I wanted to serve something that could be prepared ahead so I would have as much time as possible to spend with my guests. A strata–a layered, bread pudding-like dish made with bread and eggs–seemed like the perfect solution.

Breakfast on the Go

I recently made this recipe for one of my clients who always encourages me to try new things. She likes to participate in the cooking process so she can learn how to make things herself, and because she is concerned about her cholesterol, she asked me to help her come up with some high-protein breakfast alternatives that don’t include eggs or cheese.
